The Original Floor Plan

We are often asked about the floor plan.  There are few rooms, and it's a typical 19th c. country farmhouse layout: a central foyer with two rooms on each side.  Upstairs has a bedroom.  The rear extension adds two more first floor rooms with unfinished space above.  I have to admire the families who raised many children in this house!

Below is the current floor plan.  The drawing is not drawn perfectly to scale, but it gives you an idea of the layout!

Starting very soon, we're framing some new walls! We plan to create a bathroom and laundry in the downstairs back room (red lines):

And the heating/cooling unit will be upstairs.  We also will create a second bedroom in the front.  And later, a bedroom and bathroom in the unfinished space.
